Low Bow Windsor chair

Traditional English style Windsor chairs with pierced back splat and crinoline stretcher. I have seen these called "Low Bow" or "Yeoman's Bow" chairs.

A very comfortable style, just like Granny used to have in front of the fire. This example made of Ash, with an Elm seat, with a stain, shellac and hot wax antiqued finish.

High Back Windsor chair

English style high back carver with pierced splat, curved arm supports and crinoline stretcher. This one is probably many people's idea of a classic English Windsor Chair.

High Back Windsor Chair

Another style of high back carver with pierced splat, turned arm supports and crinoline stretcher. This one has a similar shaped seat to the Yeoman's bow shown at the top of the page.

Windsor dining Chair

English style dining chair with simple bow and crinoline stretcher.

Dining chair with pierced splat

English style dining chair with bow, backsplat, and crinoline stretcher.

The chair is made of Ash wood with an Ash seat. The finish is stain, shellac and wax. The boss in the middle of the splat was customised to the customer's requirements.
